Honestly, the queen reminds me of Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones. I hate that out of all the villains I've read, in my opinion, she's the best at this game. She's just leagues better than other villainous parents with poor background stories and it honestly baffles me that she's so calculative to the point she makes the story seem like child's play and that she does it for the love of the game (I might be wrong though, don't come for me, I haven't read the novel yet).
Now here's another hot take and it's just MY opinion... The supposed ML in this story is so emotionless it's like trying to eat a well-done, rubbery, and unseasoned steak. "But that's literally his character description!" And let me tell you it's so utterly flat that he's just outright pitiful to look at. Maybe I'm just not letting this marinate enough but the only thing I'm really looking forward to is for Thalia/Talia to escape that hellhole and find her happiness...even if that means getting with this boring ML.

And I also would like to see the FL outside of that hellhole. And... I know she does not think of running away and that's all, but everything is surrounded by enemies, and her way of surviving inside the palace is not the most intelligent one.
Though I don't think she would be able to survive outside the palace either...
And here I thought what was gonna happen was him secretly following her all the way to the blind dates and crashing it to the ground...BUT THEN HE WENT AND GOT FAMILY RS CERTS HAHAHAHAHHA IM DYING
It was kinda scary to start reading this because it had 300 chapters and I obviously didn't know if I could commit to reading 300 chapters on manhwas which aren't action or fantasy types. But boy oh boy when it came down to the final 10 chapters, I wished desperately that it would never end despite knowing that this story ended in 2020. I love this manhwa and I'm not even joking. The realism, the complexity of each character, and the multifaceted plot itself really just stacked right on top of the other to make a one-of-a-kind story where we journey with the main characters throughout their development. It wasn't anything fancy but I'm glad I got to read this later than never. Wow...I yapped a whole lot.
Describing ones flaws as traits of being "human" in a setting of otherworldly events and celestial entities is a dope diss ngl, even I would be pissed off.

It took me a quick 15 secs to see which part of the Fah Clan's symbol resembled "a parent embracing a child" cuz like 'where is it?! Do I lack creative thinking?! Am I looking at it at a different angl— oh I see it now'. (￣∇￣")
For some stupid fucking reason, this got me hooked.
And for that same stupid fucking reason, I wasted a good amount of time.
They nearly made me forget that school was something other than sex and labels.
