This is hella what I have been thinking, they were always so underprepared and there wasn't a straight goal to achieve once guwon is gone. All they focused on was getting rid of him, despite knowing the town supply and everything is run by him and the hounds. Guwon ruled by fear, his unforgiving stance is cruel, but that's a world where mistake can cause hellavu consequences. The Mc is most unreliable at best, are we even sure guwon killed his dad? No, his memory is so damn faulty, he's the one who is more like a ticking time bomb than guwon in my opinion.
