After rereading this masterpiece once more, something that struck me as odd is in the reveal chapters. While showing everyone the way Pina was manipulating people into giving false testimonies. They didn't show Pina framing Emi for pushing her down the stairs (chp. 2 page 38-42) The reason this struck me as odd, is that that was the final nail in the coffin in framing Emi. Cus as a high ranking noble, all the smaller stuff was bad but something that could be swapped under the rug. But the “attempted murder” on Pina was what could not be looked past and the reason she was kicked out. ( ╹ -╹)?
Maybe there was no longer any panels left? I think in the wn version Pina deliberately fell down the stairs. Like she knew Emi was there and timed it with Wil’s appearance. Seeing Pina with bruises from falling and under the assumption that Emi was jealous, the Prince was easily convinced that Emi was the one who pushed Pina.besides It’s a usual trope when framing someone in novels
