Since we get into the story without knowing the real Nox and their actions towards Yuri, we cannot tell if Yuri did something for him. The first thing we see is Nox reacting to the scent of Yuris pheromones and searching for him so the real Nox may had already liked Yuri.
Yuri hated the omega scent but this doesn't say what it smells like for him. He may hated the person related to the scent (Nox before the leave), so that needed an update.

Also, Yuri is adopted. They are not blood related. This is a common trope.
And they didn't fuck (yet?). Yuri used Nox' thighs.

I know they are adopted, but it’s still weird. Its pseudo incest, and they keep calling each other brother while kissing, so they clearly see each other as that. I never said they fucked, but Nox had a clear intention of doing it with Yuri but only didn’t because of blondie. Also, the Nox now is said to be separated from the Nox before, so I don’t get why we care about what happened in the past? Sure the pheromones and wtv history they had, but the current Nox has no reason to have any feelings for him other than the pheromones which is a pretty weak reason. Does the not have thoughts of his own? It would make more sense if he grew cautious of Yuri instead of being so affectionate. Also the switch up of Yuri was still too fast.

I guess this weirdness in the relationship they have is what makes it interesting as a trope.
To let them think of each other in a different way than as brothers, they need a reaction from outside. Maybe Nox becomes head of the household again, so Yuri wouldn't be needed as his brother anymore. Just an idea, not my suggestion what is going to happen.

I find it rather interesting we both seem to be unable go recall „blondies“ name since we say Nox, Yuri and Derrick but not the blonde guys name xD
So about the blonde one: I see what you mean. In your first comment it sounded like you misunderstood, that Nox and Yuri indeed fucked while the rut. That Nox didn't do it because the blonde asked for it speaks more for Nox' innocence which one cannot ignore. Nox didn't know about pheromones and how they worked, just like this he found the blonde in the first place. So the blonde had to assume Nox would have sex with Yuri because Nox just learned his own heat was handled by having sex. It's an innocent way of thinking about what to do to help Yuri, isn't it?
Yeah, the current Nox should have no reasons for his feelings but feelings don't work like that. He encountered Yuri before he had to leave for (iirc eight) years and only had Yuris pleasent scent in mind while they were seperated. After this his mind created a version of Yuri he longed for. He couldn't know whether Yuri is like this but his version is romanticized. Just like you may romanticise or like/love an actor or singer because of their looks, their voice or their skills. He had a crush on Yuri and only had the pheromone scent as memory of him.

Nox doesn't seem the type who thinks about things a lot. He even says he forgets bad things fast. Humans tend to romanticise memories. So even if he thinks about Yuri and has his own thoughts, he just lets it slide if it's a bad thing and maybe romanticises it even more if it's a good thing.

How fast Yuri changed was indeed somehow unexpected but on the other hand it's also like he came to the conclusion Nox has changed. If someone has changed, can you hold your grudge if they show you by actions how much they changed for the better? And the new Nox even apologized for the behaviour the old Nox showed.
I think it's reasonable. But I can also see that it could have been more of a stepwise progress. Apology = neutral, more time and good memories = friendly, and so on.
