Idk why ppl are disagreeing, is that how it's supposed to be? Cuz I have seen on TikTok they are posting manga panels + I’m js used to One Piece posting every week
Sincerely hoping this sufficently answers you, but just generally, because most manga are way less long-lasting, popular, and profitable than one piece:
1. The artists needs time to draw, and because they are adapting the light novels, it takes more steps to do them justice to the author and editors rather than original work like one piece
2. You want artists to be able to take care of their physical and mental health so they can sustain performance long-term, which means breaks (+they may be working on other projects also cuz they need money)
(one piece is profitable enough for oda to sacrifice his health for his passion project, but even then, his publishing company requires him to take breaks cuz they've caused him numerous health complications)
3. Publication takes time and review and has a set schedule for release
4. Translation also takes time and money from fans/companies to maintain quality and can also have schedules to complete their coordination (+sometimes stockpile chapters so they can release on a steady basis and/or so their readers/piraters will feel the urge to support the author by buying raws or official chapters)
5. Social media panel posters may be doing their own translations that can have less quality control, which means they can post faster than the group fan translations/officials with set schedules
