It’s amazing when there’s stories about self serving characters written so well! While I love a great heroine, seeing female characters written in a bad light but so well while being the mc is actually pretty nice! Usually, authors try making excuses for the characters, but these are letting us see the horrible side of obsession love and insecurity so well! What person doesn’t wish for the ideal partner? What human isn’t insecure in their relationships? We all have flaws, but taking the horror turn in them with great art is honestly amazing! Seeing characters with different personalities is so refreshing outside of the “I’m a good guy and I’ll prove it” or the “I’m evil and I’ll show you” perspective is great! Humanity is flawed and there’s no such things as only good people or pure evil (kind of) and this really dives into it!
