It was supposed to be but it got caught up in a controversy. A lot of people felt like it was “BL bait” because in the novel the MC never actually chose any of the guys and instead ended up choosing the female love interests. A lot of fans were disappointed which led to a huge debate about how it was “BL bait” and how they “wanted their BL.” Basically a lot of people hated it so the author/artist ended up changing it. Personally I wouldn’t have minded it either. I actually would have liked the “straight” routes because it would basically be GL/Yuri since the MC was originally a woman
