Readers, what gives you the ick on the way the author writes a fanfic/story??

When I see the letter 'u' for 'you'... wrap it upppp. My teacher constantly told me that you don't write like how you speak and you don't write like you're texting. Do. Not. Use. Abbreviations. On. Simple. Words like you, your, you know etc...

When they use aave but clearly don’t understand it and it just ends up a big mess Bad grammar. I can’t stand it. First person When characters, no matter the age, all talk the same way, like, unless explicitly stated you wouldnt be able to tell their age from how they talk if that makes sense. When they use abuse, trauma, or sexual assault in their story but then don’t address the issue, or they romanticize it. I hate when authors say it’s “dark romance” when it’s rape. You can use it for your fetishizes because you have the freedom to do so, but don’t you dare call it romance.
