i know i shouldn't ask much from a yaoi but i write fics and do a lot of research for shows set in other countries yet these authors can't search about our culture just a bit. they just want the aesthetics. this is why the setting is in some random made up place instead of some real country. bcz then they would have to search and differentiate and learn about the different cutures of the west asia. it's is just sad when the cultures across the regions are so rich in music, food and clothing and this is what u get again and again and again. i can recommend three other yaoi with same clothing design. same stereotype of big bathroom. and same looking uke or whatever i didn't read after chap 1. even the background.
