I thoroughly enjoyed reading Under the Green Light—one of my favorite manhwas of all time—and was anticipating the release of Jaxx’s new work. Upon reading this, however, I am quite concerned about the setting being post Civil War which consisted of the dehumanization and cruel treatment towards African Americans and other minority groups. It’s beyond appalling that Jaxx thought this was okay; the audacity???? to use a period of suffering as the setting for a bl is insane.
I am quite appalled by people being excited??? about this and thinking nothing of the setting and the slave x master dynamic??? This is fucking beyond me because why did they think this would work out. To me, it feels like they don’t understand the severity of that time and it’s extremely ignorant.
THANK YOU I swear to God these BL bitches are fucking brain dead. Why would a stupid ass Korean woman know the first thing about black suffering and black perseverance the black Diaspora till this day is still suffering the effects of slavery what does she know about the antebellum south as a black woman living in the south in a small town the effects and racism of slave slavery still find a way to shine through every day
