Im sorry but there not doing enough with this bl, with how good the novel is this is hardly comparable imo, first off the chapters take too long to release, their not adding emphasis on certain scenes bc this jealousy scenes was way more exaggerated whereas this just felt kinda rushed and most importantly the art is getting worse each chapter, its like there only putting in all the budget towards the ml and they make the mc look plain, mc's face in the first few chapters was so defined but now they just make his face puffy like there not even trying with the mc but that's just my opinion
Idk about his face it just looks like they added more emotional details to him ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Thank you for also being frustrated with this manhwa with me. I haven't read the novel, frankly I didn't know there was a novel, but I'm so irritated at the slow and extremely short chapters that feel rushed. Personally the art doesn't look bad, just off at times, and they fr are slowly twinkifying the twink, I see what you mean. Could you please drop the novel link, I'm so done with waiting over a week for one short ass chapter.
From someone who is pretty objective on this manga and felt the novel was pretty bland/cliche as far as novels go, I don’t see much of a discrepancy in the art style here from chapter to chapter and it feels pretty on pace for the novel.
It’s actually funny you said it feels fast because I found it feels glacial, since in the novel their feelings seemed to come out of nowhere. Had me questioning how much was biology (spoiler) and how much was circumstantial.
To be fair I am a character design major, so I can determine even the slightest bits of change in an art style. Like I said the change here is very subtle, and they're more of these kinds of changes, but I don't really like to nitpick unless it's something that seriously upsets me, or I'm agreeing with someone else's take. Also I never hold it against authors when they can't write romance well. I know how difficult it is to portray characters developing feelings for each other at a good pace, even with art of said characters, it's still very difficult. That's why from what you're telling me, I'd much rather read the novel where the feelings are developed almost instantaneously, than the manhwa where the feelings develop at a very slow pace. Also as long as there's no sexual abuse that magically leads to falling in love, I'm good.
Agree they are starting to slack, and can we change Yeehyeon's clothing like he wears the same striped shirt...like damn the boy is working, get him some new clothes...hell all of the side characters have changed clothes like multiple times. Mr. Liu is so sweet on him, then buy him some new clothes...ugh.
I will admit also the pacing it too slow, they need to take some liberties and skip past some things...ijs.

The bar is really low if you draw the line at sexual abuse lol but yeah IIRC he only withholds some very important information from MC in order to have the outcome sway in his favor despite knowing it’s making him ill, other than that they are a pretty cliche power dynamic couple “influential, overbearing but all about his partner ML” and the “not like other girls but just like others girls, can’t stop being obsessed with his partner MC.”
I was pretty disappointed when the novel started off trying to play like we had an “indifferent, independent” MC, that was the whole draw, he’s just the same as most constantly blushing, dick for brains. I’ve read worse (RAGAS) so hope you have a good read!
I mean I agree with everything you said but the last part, the mc wasn't dick for brains he's a didi which means they were destined to be together and the onlh two that can smell those specific pheromones on each other which drives them both crazy so mc cant control it and he is independent, rn in the latest chaps of the novel he is a famous painter living in Paris rn at the hands and he is indifferent to everyone and most things except for the ml. But other than that I agree with everything else you said

Yes, I read the novel (that’s the link I inserted) so I know what he’s doing and what the plot line of their “rare biology” is. It’s just my opinion that he reminds me of certain cliches where they are meant to be indifferent/poker faced but reflect differently. I find myself wondering what the point of that description was, when the person they are around the entire novel (our POV) has them flushed, jealous and sex crazed. (Yes, I know he paints at some point.)
Sure, you can say it’s because of their pheromones and they can’t help it, but I would’ve just preferred realistic expectations of his character when exposed to ML constantly. You see what I’m saying? I don’t care about how he is when it’s not on the page, they could say he has manic episodes and never depict one and it would not impact the story, same thing here.
Anyways, not that big of a deal, I just have a lot of thoughts about everything I read haha! Thanks for your insight, nice to hear other opinions!

Idkk I've read the whole novel for this and the novel is just way better, when they took out the scene of ml eating Mc's butt I was so annoyed, the artstyle is getting bad compared to the first few chapters, idk I think there making it kinda boring but the novel wasnt, I just hope they bring the art back to how it was in the first few chapters.

Im sorry but the author needs to do way better at drawing the mc, bc its honestly ruining it for me I read the whole novel and the mc's sharp features is heavily talked about, especially since he continues to only really wear stripped shirts thought the whole bl, his face sort of makes up for his lack of fashion sense in a way and people around him or strangers always admires his sharp features but those features or no where to be found here, im confessed
I have not read the novel so I don't know about that but can the author fix his dressing sense a bit ? I mean he's always in striped shirts or tees and tbh it's ruining his whole look
As that comment said the stripped shirt is just described in the whole novel so the manhwa drawer keeps it that way but the face is more in the “soft” side if ykwim while he’s describe of having sharp features
