It is actually very good. She is like that because in her last life the Duke died on the battlefield and she had rough life till she died, so in this life she is trying to stay distant from him and gain wealth in the beginning for herself. But trust me this story is actually very good. I completed this story last year only. It actually shows actual and realistic character development over time not sudden change.
I would say YES! Read it and you'll understand. They REALLY make a great couple.
