The so called father gets a pass by society for abandoning his child and responsibilities so the teen mom tried so hard to handle it all until she’s broken and did the unthinkable. She alone of course paid the price for his “invisible” cruelty, neglect, and abuse of both her and their child.
That he allowed the public bathroom shenanigans! Guess love and lust will cloud your judgement. At this point, he can’t blame JK, he’s an active participant to the proposal not going as he planned.
Although, I think an organic approach to proposing is very charming and more memorable.
Would have been so nice if author continued with sol of them handling adulthood, business, and married life (with occasional baking recipe from their bakery!) hanging out with friends and supportive family. Heck I would even read about dad & secretary!
