I think it was his sister that dropped her kid off for her brobto take care of. He snuck her onto the campus and was wondering how to take care of her then a guy comes and offers his help. Fast forward and they become sorta like a family and in the end his sis comes to take the kid back but the kid likes the guy and says he'll be stolen by the guy who offered his help.
