Got curious so I looked it up. Here's a short spoiler i copied from someone in novel updates :)
ML's mother and FL's father were the real villains in this story. All the pain and sh*t that went down was because of them.
ML's mother (Charlotte) betrayed ML's father and let FL's father (Peter) kill him.
Then she left the household and found another man and tried to milk him out as well.
This all happened when ML was a kid, and when he grew up and brought the household back to its glory, this MF had the audacity to come back and try to take it from her son.
FL's father, on the other hand, was just as bad.
Basically, he raped FL's mother or really mistreated her, got her pregnant, then got kicked out of Korea (there's a fictional name in the novel).
FL's grandfather stepped in and became her father.
FL's father came back and killed everyone (grandfather, FL's teacher) and burned the house freaking down.
For some god damn reason, later he decided to take the grandfather's corpse as well.
Now our FL had to go to the country the ML was in to look for her father so she could properly bury her grandfather.
Basically, this was what connected the ML and FL. FL knew her father was a MF*ker and wanted to atone for her sin of being his kid- hence the title of the story. She lived her life as a sinner. The other MF*ker in the story was the King and his backstory was basically really hating the ML and wanted to take everything from him. He's more the Anson of the story if you read the other novel

i read until 15 chapters from other site then instantly regretted it like tfff.. that bitch framed her......... ,sent a drugged man to rape her (the man was kinda unconscious so didn't really happened) made a deal with her to leave the manor or she'll tell the count her relationship with jay(the son) that the count would cripple Jay if he found out..fml justt accepted ittttttt she'll leave and pretend to be raped to get a divorce.....she's so freakinggg frustratingggg wtfff like girll???!!!

There are literally hundreds of Manhwas with strong FL go read them instead of here complaining. Also the FL wants the divorce no matter what , yes she was manipulated but she also wanted to break off the Marriage
The titles literally "BULLSHIT" what did this peps expect. It's like reading a dark romance and complaining why it's so dark. Well I'm just waiting for the wedding and after all side stories, I'll move this to my 'I already read' list and move on with my life....

I read the novel, and i can't wait for the scene where bjorn made 3 snowmen. There, they talked about what they felt, how both of them grieved in their own way when they lost their baby. It was heartbreaking
