nanjo does show subtle signs that he definitely cares about mokyeon. for example it’s clear nanjo sprinted to the hospital when the call failed based off all the sweat on him. and he wanted to hug mokyeon back but restrained himself with clenched fists, not pushing him away. and when mokyeon grabbed his pants, nanjo didn’t act upset or anything and even agreed to stay and talk to him after he gets proper treatment and testing done. i think mokyeon just hurt nanjo really bad and he needs time to forgive him for it
