Did you think of that maybe, maybe the whole point of the story is to be fucked up? Not every story is about love and butterflies and happy ending lol. Shit like this happens, and I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a fucked up story about fucked up people. It wasn't meant to warm your heart and brighthen your day and sail your little ships.
