Same!!! When I first read about Yuki, I had to stop reading the manga for 3-4 years or so... I was grieving!!! At first I hated Mafuyu, but then again he was grieving so much, and he really deserves happyness too. (Not saying he deserves happyness because he grieved.)

it was the opposite for me, i grieved Yuki but i hated him for how he treated Mafuyuu and how suffocating that love was for him.

Lolol it was definitely not suffocating- they were having very normal relationship problems anyone would have especially considering their age- ur making it out to be as if yuki was super toxic or sm shi when it very clearly portrayed he was not

To me, mafuyu and yuki did loved each other but they have sort of codependency to one another. Mafuyu centers his entire world to yuki because yuki saved his life from mafuyu's abusive father, ever since he was a child he have always been with yuki. (ik theres hiiragi and shizu but like i said he centers his world to yuki, thats why he lashed out to yuki because of the band etc) While yuki, even though we as readers doesnt know why yuki actually offed himself, its implied that yuki have always been depressed and have his own personal issues. He depended emotionally on mafuyu to feel okay to the point of one single argument was so destructive that it led to yuki's d*ath What mafuyu said was wrong tho so dont say im justifying what mafuyu told yuki:( but they were arguing and mafuyu was mad at yuki and told him that out of pettiness and merely bluff, but to yuki it felt like the only thing that held him on was collapsing. So yes, they are toxic but it doesnt mean that their love was fake
