I mean... kind of a forced way to drive a plot, no? Anyone else feel that?
nah, his opponent is a psycho ever since. he literally sabotaged the match twice now so its not "forced" cuz that is his character. it's interesting that the guy who stabbed kim dan is the one who knows kim dan from the past, such a small world. but its reasonable how he ended up there having to pay them back his loan nd shit, that guy is a brokeass man nd an asshole who doesn't have a life.
Yo I'm dumb what was the family drama in ch 93 someone pls explain
If you put together the backstory they've been putting together for a while:
- Iseop's aunt (who died) and uncle (mom's brother) were in a contract engagement.
- the aunt fell in love with volleyball player abandoned Iseop's uncle, and ran away to the US.
- the uncle actually loved her so he was heartbroken and ran away to become a teacher in a rural city
- To keep the uniom contract between the two families, Iseop's mom was forced to throw away her dreams, career and life to marry Iseop's dad
- Iseop's dad is absolute trash who cheated on hos wife, the biggest affair was the one in the flashback where he cheated with his secretary who latee blackmailed for a lot of money. Iseop's mom had to clean all that sht
So she despises people who fall in love and ruin those around them, and people who live on their impulses like lust without consideration of others
That was not okay. I'm not...okay.
As a strong independent woman, I was enjoying a solo date and eating dinner at a restaurant. Now I'm snifling having read. Totally ruined my strong independent image.
Nah but that kind of partner is a rarity in rl. But yeah the yearning is real..
Their scent, their smile, their anger, disgust, annoyance, shocks, happyness, shyness, and etc is everything you accept and fall in love with. It has to be mutual even if one is later than the other but it should come to that threshold to make it uniquely perfect for you and your partner.

Keeping the plot aside for a second, can we take a moment to address the work culture? It's soooo toxic!?!
Also what do you mean memorize his favourite foods? Waking up the man and fixing his tie? Ewwwww
Imo a secretary at best can book flights for a business trip. Which is also too much
We always see this in k dramas too . Maybe it s a Korean thing or .... fetish
