It had so much potential as a horror BL.
See how I apologized before typing my comment, simply shared my observation, and managed not to be insufferable or disrespectful toward the author, the characters, or the readers? See how you could’ve simply ignored my comment, but instead chose to acknowledge it just to be rude? Interesting, right?
I’m genuinely wondering if you think apologizing before giving an opinion always means the person knows their opinion is wrong, or that they’re somehow giving themselves a pass to say the most diabolical thing ever.
Because here, I was simply being polite because I knew this was an unpopular opinion.
It’s like saying, “I’m sorry, but I actually liked this movie,” or “I’m sorry, but I actually like licorice.” I’m just expressing an unpopular taste or point of view, not trying to ruin someone’s day.
I apologized because I knew people wouldn’t like or share my take, and judging by these replies, I clearly predicted that correctly.
But that’s okay, because everyone is free to agree, disagree, or simply ignore it. At the end of the day, we can all move on and enjoy our lives.
Chapter so good, I’ll turn obese.
Chapter so sweet, it gave me diabetes.
