I need some incest recs to write it in my essay about “Why is incest bad?”
It would be nice if anybody wants to share their opinions. I am writing on why is incest bad although it’s pretty obvious.

I think the fact that Incest isn't classified as a psychiatric disorder is a major hint of how that condition doesn't just happen, it's not an uncontrollable urge. It's an action resulted of many factors, but the keyword is "lack of"
lack of differentiation of self with parents/family members in early childhood (oedipus complex be making you weird if not shaped properly), lack of distinct child and parent roles in the family, lack of paternal and maternal presence, lack of proper family functions, lack of boundaries, etc.
Those lack ofs should've been filled by the adults around the innocent children, as people who are expected to be responsible and already know better at least to some basic degree of social rules if they're not that good in the head, but those adults turned into perperators instead, hence why Incest falls under child sexual abuse, sexual assault, or criminal violation. If passed as a psychiatric disorder, Incest would put both the perperator and victim at the same level of judgement.
But no, thankfully, the world is sane enough to emphasize that Incest is an ACTION caused by some vital factors, if not caused by the perperators alone. There's always the cause/perperator and victim in Incest. Shouldn't need more than 2 brain cells to understand that anything where people fall victim to is undeniably bad.
I've met some people argued with "but love is love! you can't control who we fall in love with"
dawg the way you can fall in love with your own family member just shows there was something lacking in you or your family to begin with. we all, as humans with thoughts, should be able to differentiate between family and not, but if you can't, you must've missed the key points somewhere in your childhood for some reason.

You have like 1000x better chances of doing actual paper research on a topic like this as parts of it involves biology. Mangas on here aren't gonna tell you why it's bad or give you good reasons as to why it's justified. The reason is simply them being "in love" in each and every one. Your chances are way better with scholarly research
i also think one of the shortest way to deny justification of Incest is by saying "that is just pedophilic adults, or psychologically disordered perpetrators, preying on their own younger or more vulnerable family members because that's the closest and fastest way to find their victims"
