Let's be honest, the setting is that he's a straight male—who we know in Chapter 34 was probably also taken advantage of as a young boy by a man—found out he married a man on his wedding night, in bed. As king, he still chose to keep up pretenses and not break the marriage until they found his real wife. He doesn't owe MC anything, much less fidelity. Art is also fine, there's much worse & the dang dog is drawn that way for a reason.
