Lol everyone here’s so mad at the rabbit but I like both the snake and the rabbit, they’re both interesting and pretty. It’s the stupid love triangle that’s infuriating. I read the spoilers (or more like saw the pictures since I can’t read Spanish or Russian). Unless I’m misunderstanding the pictures, it seems to me that the true asshole is the indecisive wolf that’s leading them both on until the end. It’s not the rabbit’s fault that the wolf’s so wishy washy and cant make up his damn mind about who he wants to be with until the last chapter. Whatever, at least the art is beautiful, I’ll just appreciate the snake and rabbit’s beauty (and the cute babies!)
Obviously everyone has their own opinions but I don’t really mind that the author hasn’t ended the story yet. It’s not like some other manga where an important unresolved conflict drags on for years without any resolution, and the manga not ending means the readers never receive any sense of closure for the relationship. At this point, it seems like the author already gave a satisfying “ending” to Takato and Junta’s relationship two arcs ago. Readers can stop reading there if they want and still feel a sense of completion for their relationship. But it seems like the author really likes this couple and want to write some bonus misadventures with them even after they’ve officially gotten together. And as someone who enjoys reading about this couple, I’m happy to get more content about them even if there isn’t any further big developments, and it’s just random smaller scale conflicts that’s easily resolved by the end of the volume. It’s like reading a fun volume-long “Extra”. It’s there if you want to read it, but not necessary if you don’t.
Everyone in the comment section is (understandably) super sympathetic and understanding towards Utou but I don’t understand why so many people can’t extend the same sympathy towards Sumi? The comments towards Sumi are starting to get nicer but I still saw several ppl hating on him and some even saying everything is Sumi’s fault and he deserved everything that happened to him. Sumi was literally violently gang raped as a teen. Are people really so desensitized to rape omegaverse (and yaoi in general) that they can’t comprehend the amount of lifelong trauma it causes for victims?
All omegas are severely oppressed, but it’s even worse for Sumi since suppressants don’t work well for him. Sumi has the threat of rape hanging over him every time he’s in heat in public until he can find an Alpha to bond with. Plus bonding with an alpha will also put an end to being whored out by his boss. Even if you don’t agree with his decision, I think it’s understandable why Sumi chose to bond with the other alpha to end this torment, especially since he thought Utou didn’t return his feelings at the time. There’s SO much at stake for Sumi being in an beta/omega relationship, but now that he knows Utou truly loves him, Sumi is willing to fight for their relationship. I know heartbreak and the feeling of inferiority at losing out to Alphas must be really tough to deal with for Utou and I honestly also feel really bad for him. But comments saying Sumi, a victim of rape, deserves the pain/molestation/a tragic ending are honestly pretty insensitive. I love and feel for both Sumi and Utou and I hope they both find a happy future together.
I was disgusted when I saw ppl say that sumi deserves to suffer more because of what he did. People are only nicer now because they know that him being with utou would make utou happy. They don’t regard sumis feelings or want him to be happy individually. Like someone said, sumi I forgive because you made utou happy. Like the biggest eye roll ever （￣へ￣）

Yes, I hate how everyone got mad at sumi when he decided to bond with the alpha, it was a reasonable altho impulsive decision(I facepalm-ed so hard when he did that)..Utou rejected him previously and then did NOTHING for A WEEK., OH how I was soo furious when ppl said that Utou didn't do anything wrong,like?? Sumi obviously started to blame himself and got guilty towards Utou since Utou always took care of him, Utou kept him hanging for A WEEK and then suddenly confessed to Sumi telling him that he loves sumi after he saw the bite..like boyy ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ you supposed to said it long ago..but I understand his inferiority towards alpha(╥﹏╥)

Sumi is 12 years younger than utou. So I think it would decrease his life span, but not drastically
Exactly. Utou was laid back during the whole series and did something when sumi was bitten. Biggest eye roll. I get he has insecurities but he indirectly hurted sumi and ppl are looking past that and only blaming sumi.
Did sumi start the “friends with benefits” or whatever you call it ( cause they weren’t in any relationship or friendship). Nooo utou did. Than he went behind his back and found out about his past and didn’t tell him, and say ohh nooo I can’t help you anymore and didn’t tell him why. Sumi was confused. Than he confesses but utou does nothing ( at this point utou knew he liked him). He was giving mixed signals and there wasn’t any proper communication.
Sumi than makes a dumb decision and gets bonded. Now look his life span is shortened.
And ppl say utou didn’t do anything wrong. Yes he did.
Yup I agree with everyone’s reply :) Utou was reluctant to love another omega after his previous heartbreak and ended up sending so many mixed messages to Sumi. He probably also thought Sumi would be happier and safer with an alpha. And Sumi made the bad/rash decisions he did to stop the constant threat of rape and molestation. Sumi’s missteps were bigger but he not only had his heart on the line, but also his future mental and physical safety. I honestly think many people would rather enter a loveless/less passionate relationship with a (seemingly) sweet and caring person than face a future of endless potential rape and torment. I mean so many people around the world have entered loveless relationships for much less. Love is a luxury that not everyone can afford. They’ve both made mistakes due to their previous traumas but they are now both willing to move past them and fight for the relationship. It makes more sense to support the strength of their will to be together rather than continuing debating who doesn’t deserve who.
Also wtf Sumi’s lifespan will be reduced after the surgery?? Is this in the raw? Can’t Sumi and Utou ever just have peaceful happiness without something ominous looming over their head? But I am going to flip if I see insensitive comments saying Sumi deserves an early grave or Utou deserves a partner with a longer lifespan lol. Hopefully Sumi’s lifespan won’t be shortened by too much and Utou and him can still enjoy a long and happy relationship together.
I am really confused...from what I understand, I think Shiratori has an omega brother (idk if biological or step siblings) that he is in love with (the blond one in the picture with him) who is also shown on page http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/kurui_naku_no_wa_boku_no_ban_beta/uu/ibx_chapter-3.2/pg-25/ (with a bite on his neck) when Utou asks Shiratori if he’s still mad about “that day”. So maybe Shiratori blames Utou for loosing his work and also somehow loosing his brother? And that’s why he mentioned about taking away BOTH Utou’s work and loved one as revenge? Also I can’t figure out if he felt loosing his job to Utou lead to him also loosing his brother OR if there was actually something going on between Shiratori’s brother and Utou in the past as well that made him jealous?
Either way, I just want Utou and Sumi to finally be happy and I don’t care what bonding loopholes the author is going to use to accomplish it.
It always catches me off guard when other (outside) characters mention how surprising it is to see Hiromu being affectionate and doting toward Masaki/kids. Because his loving side is all I’m used to seeing in the manga lol. I find the way Hiromu’s personality is revealed in the manga to be really interesting and refreshing. Usually with characters like him in other manga, we’re introduced to them as being cold/serious/strict first (and so that’s the primary personality we associate them with), and then watch them slowly melt and become sweet over the course of the story as get together with their lover. But in this story, since we’re introduced to Hiro as a sweet, goofy, and loving husband/father first, it’s hard to remember that he’s usually a very stoic and serious person to people outside of his family.
I really love both couples but I kind of wish the author would just focus on one couple at a time instead of switching between the two couples' story within the same chapter. Or at least dedicate the first half of the manga to one couple and the second half to the other. like just when I get invested in one couple's story I suddenly get left hanging when it switches to an almost unrelated plotline for the other couple (I mean I know they're all connected but I feel like their struggles are distinct and separate enough where we don't need to see them both happening all at once). Plus all the flip flopping is slowing down both couple's plots and it feels like not enough is happening each time and I'm left a bit frustrated by the end of the chapter. I love the characters/story and I'll still gladly read whatever the author has to offer, I just wished she would have organized the manga a bit differently.
Plus just going by the comments, most people seem to have a preference for the story line of either Sumi and Utou or Miyabi and Keisuke. And now some people are getting frustrated (or even angry) with the couple they're less interested in since the story of the relationship they prefer keeps getting interrupted by the other. It didn't have to be this way, lol!
I definitely agree! Also, I'm not saying there shouldn't be any scenes with Miyabi and Keisuke but their sex scenes or whatever can be extras to their manga called kurui naku no wa boku no ban not this one 'beta'. Like I just want to see the development of Sumi and Utou in this one.
Yes I agree :) Usually I wouldn't mind Miyabi and Keisuke sex scenes since it's pretty hot and I love the two characters and their relationship. In fact I would be willing to read a whole other volume of them just being domestic and happy and maybe exploring how they would handle Miyabi's potential infertility issue. My only problem is that it's hard for me to be invested in the happy sex life of Miyabi and Keisuke when Sumi is miserable and literally being gangraped by a bunch of alphas at the same time. Plus by the 7th chapter most manga would have finished a story arc already but there's barely been any significant relationship developement between Utou and Sumi because their story keeps being interrupted.
