It deviated from the novel a bit :p here Kael got quite sick again, and felt guilty that Diana talking to him still made him happy..

    Kaizenix March 7, 2024 7:47 am

You're getting it wrong. Idk bout the novel but here, it's not that he's happy diana talked to him and he felt guilty cause of it.

He felt guilty because he felt no emotions at all when diana talked to him.

He's saying something along "I feel guilty cause I don't feel any sadness or any feelings when she talked to me. After all, I used to love her with all my heart".

He's saying he's feeling rather indifferent to her talking to him. Which in turns make him feel guilty

I’m not getting it wrong cause I’m precisely comparing both.. That’s why I say it’s different from the novel. In the novel he feels bad that it felt “nice” taking to Diana and feels foolish about it. He still highlights that it affects him (to the point of getting sick afterwards) which is the opposite here, it was a clean cut. Although he does reassure Hess has no plans of ever leaving her, and cares for Hess :)

Yeah, and I'm saying that, here, as in manhwa, he feels indifferent. That's the part I said you got wrong.

They aren’t wrong tho because all they said was that in the novel he felt guilty that he was happy about talking to Diana

OPs post implies that the MANHWA kael felt happy talking to Diana leading to him feeling guilty which was not the case.

OP mustve switched Novel Kael and Manhwa Kael in their original post

Not trying to be rude either really but op doesn’t imply that he’s happy here they were just stating that in the NOVEL Kael was feeling guilty they don’t mention anything about the MANWHA besides the fact that it deviated from the NOVEL

Let me dissect what was said for you cause I can assure you that my reading comprehension is completely fine and since the op tried to tell you the same thing as me and they wrote it (the original comment) I’m sure they know what they meant.

“It deviated from the novel a bit here” implying that the manwha has decided to not follow the novel precisely.

As for the rest of their sentence they are referring to what happened in the NOVEL “Kael got quite sick again and felt guilt that Diana talking to him still made him happy”

These are things that happened in the novel, him being happy talking to Diana and then feeling sick from guilt because he felt happy. (If you read the novel of have been reading the comments you might have seen this before)

    Just saying

"It deviated from the novel" And "here" Are separate because of the emoting that put some gap between them. And then the "here" Talked about manhwa.. The comment previous to mine explains it well if you're wondering

We assure u that we understand OPs point. We were just pointing out how OPs original comment may cause confusion especially to those that have no knowledge of the novel.

Next chapter.. ash point of view :p

kyoko-san May 20, 2021 10:49 pm

This doesn’t make sense to me.. in the first chapters Tristan and gaspar were surprised that she could summon the white haslat. She did it once and mounted herself. How come he is now associated to him??

It’s not a plot hole, you just didn’t pay attention to the storyline

    Myalso21 May 20, 2021 11:50 pm

Bc she summoned in the town when she was still under his thumb so commoners assumed he summoned it at the time so she could get in trouble for helping him lie to the kingdom

Yes exactly.. she can just say “nope it is mine”. They make it sound in this chapter he has been using haslat for his missions for a very long time, and that was not the case. At the time she had no trouble mounting it away.. but now all of the sudden it is an issue?
