I don't have a problem with Yuri's asshole ways. It may come off as harsh and insensitive to some, but it's really some truth to it. I love Jiri as much as the next guy but Yuri is right about him being pathetic at times. I understand that depression works in many ways, but Jiri's behavior and demeanor really shows in everything he says and does and he doesn't even try to seek help and is an entire hypocrite when he should be taking his own advice. Yuri sees this hypocrisy and shell of man Jiri has become and judges him harshly because he cares for him in his own way. Even I'd hate looking at someone like Jiri right now, being the epitome of melancholy! And as mean as he can be, Yuri is always there for Jiri and he also needs his on counseling or help to deal with his anger and trauma.
