I’ve had a Mangago acc for years, and this is my first Topic bc of how awful the ending was for me. I saw it recommended in an Instagram reel, and one comment mentioned how they loved this comic but hated the ending, which made me want to read it. Now I see why
One thing I’ll point out that I’ve noticed other Topics talk about: Anne did NOT marry a random man. The head of the orphanage addresses Anne as “Madam Petz”, which is Leo’s last name (“Leo Shelley Ferdinand Petz IV” as he asserted in Ch. 48 LMAO). At least one couple lived happily ever after (along with Penelope and Olivia); although I feel bad for Bluebell. But with Anne and Leo’s interactions in the garden, I was glad to see they ended up together.
Other than that, like others said, I feel like my time was stolen from me because of this ending. The author was clearly rushing, which makes me wonder why she had to, but it resulted in utter dissatisfaction. I honestly would’ve accepted it more if it ended without Isaac showing up alive at the very end, bc it could let readers infer that the child was him. Either way, not the ending I was expecting. I also wonder how Bluebell, Kay, Mac, etc. are doing. I’m assuming they also took Penelope’s medicine to turn normal. But because of the rushed ending, I guess we’ll never know..!

I double checked and it was *Ch. 47, not 48.

Totally agree.. for me it looks like the author completely changed.

Obs.: I don’t follow the author news, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the original author died and they put someone who didn’t like the story to write the rest.
