I disagree with some of these comments. I'm actually really satisfied with this ending. Of course it would have been good if we got to see a time skip where the beast people are treated equally but I think without that it just wouldn't have made sense with the timeline of the story. I'm honestly not mad at this open end, it hints that equality I'd gonna happen while still being believable. ( if you disagree that's fine but I wanted to share my opinion.)
I honestly can't be bothered with this shitty ass rapey conflict. Both characters have pissed me off in this one. If the conflict isn't resolved in the next chapter I'll probably drop this.
