So basically the main character has a younger step brother who is really mean to him (step-bro secretly has a crush on main character). MC meets love interest at uni. Love interest lives on his own because step mother kept hitting on him. Pretty typical - love interest doesn't realize he's falling in love with the MC and then there's a scene where they're at school and MC falls asleep and the love interest is looking up into the starry sky ?? that's as much as I remember, I read it a year or so ago and randomly remembered it but can't figure out what manga it is. It's completed and only a few chapters long. I didn't read it on this site but I can't seem to find it anywhere ... Any help is much appreciated!

I've been reading this manga even throughout all the drama between the author and translators or whatever happened because I did genuinely think the story writing was interesting and it felt like a compelling read at the beginning. I've been holding out waiting for a redemption arc from ah-in but I guess that's not happening and now I'm just disappointed. I mean I guess I should've realized with how dark the writing was but still. like I didn't think there would be a happy ending but I thought there would be some type of satisfaction from all the pain and angst of reading this story
