The face khaol made is a bit heartbreaking but also infuriating and proof that (for me) it's too late/I hope its too late, I like my baby in his current relationship with heil which he so deserves after the backstab he got from khaol after all the effort river put into him and all the trust he gave and lost
No amount of apologies and repayment would turn back time and give river as much happiness as he currently has and although, yes, it may be necessary to work together to stop lari, I hope khaol understands that river deserves the happiness that khaol never gave him when he had the chance, as pitiful as he looks, he was a toxic person and river deserved better considering how much effort he put in for khaol
