I miss the past Heeseo :( Be was barely just an adult and I could emphasize with him a lot, but the current arc just feels like porn with a tiny bit of plot points in between.
The smut scenes with younger Heeseo felt like something. He was a troubled kid (possibly with borderline personality disorder, I say this as someone who's autistic and can relate to people with BPD. The correlation comes from some autistic people developing a special interest towards a person which can be similar to people with BPD having a special person) who was trying to make sense of a world that was hostile towards him, a world he was never taught how to process, and forced to face alone. His only guiding light was a sponsor who he became obsessed with as a result of his past trauma and his need to belong. You can truly sense young Heeseo's desperation and conflicting emotions/confusion throughout the story.
The last scene of part 1 was very sad, but it was an action I understood based on his character. I was hoping we'd see more internal conflict with this current arc and information on Heeseo and what lead to the first scene in chapter 1.
But nah this arc is just porn, and Heeseo acts like another one of those bland toxic semes you see in lots of BLs
I can only hope that the plot progresses more, but I'm just sad and disappointed since I really enjoyed the realism in Heeseo's character in part 1.
