Honestly, I hate FLs like Julia more than the pathetic "hes an asshole but I just cANt reSIsT HiM mY BOdy iS HoT" woman that make me wanna vomit. They always lie and run away then give some garbage sob story about how they "wanted to protect them" as if they are some selfless heroine when they are usually the most selfish heroines in these sh*tty Harlequin books. I wish Julias face was real just so I could slap it.

Honestly, one thing I hate more than the 100s of trash MLs in Harlequin book are that we NEVER see comeuppance. There is ALWAYS a villian, there are ALWAYS horrible bullies, liars, cheats etc but they ALWAYS get away with it. I've probably read less than a handful where that ass actually faces repercussions. I want to SEE THEM SUFFER for their actions!! That includes punishment for MLs too though, tbh. Ugh, the worst!!
