Why are ppl mad if other ppl hate the guy, it's pretty fair I mean he's just really creepy and weird and doesn't know to back off. If it were me I'd call the police on him. Sure he's a funny addition to the story, and has some good redeeming qualities, but he's generally just a douche bag. You can like him for the comedy or dislike him cuz he's a creep
No shade but, if you think that just because you hate a single character in a story you should quit reading it is the solution, it really isn't because at this point what the hell are you reading, nothing, there's nothing left to read. Ppl are free to share their opinion on a character especially one like this
