To be fair, it's been hinted at throughout the entire manga. The last chapter definitely gave the vibe of a backstory about to be shared. I'm not really mad about it bc eventually it will happen but I can understand why ppl who waited for a week would be upset.
every single character has been given and has shown their backstory it wouldn’t make sense to get a backstory from literally everyone else but not the mc and then the author baited us with that last chapter and even skipped a week of updating so i was ready!!…and then we get this like at this point the author HAS to be a sadist cuz whattt
