So it seems that I'm not the only one. I also liked her, she's my favourite character.

for me it's because she has strong characters and that's what makes her interesting. Glad that not everyone hates her because of her bitchy attitude lol

That's not a reason to let her live. Clearly,her way of thinking is beyond selfish and bad.It's inhumane. How could you let her survive?Are you supporting her ways of actions and reasons? Could you ever throw away your hmanity to survive? if yes,what's left of you?

this was months ago, so I don't know that Michiko will be such a bitch now but oh well, she's still strong willed and inhumane as ever. To be very honest, I prefer strong and merciless girl than a weak one, so that's the reason I kinda rooting for Michiko.

And second, relax. It's only a fiction. If something like were to happen in real life, I wouldn't say the same. It's inhumane to take somebody's life so that you can live. But since it's a fiction, everything could happen and given that situation, even the main guy is finally give in to kill someone so his girlfriend can survive. And what's left of you? regret, guilt, and horror of killing someone. Or for someone as twisted as Michiko, they maybe wouldn't feel anything.

At least that's what I thought. I know that most of us don't like Michiko because she's ruthless, but maybe it just me who prefer villain than the hero himself.

You are just exaggerating. This is just a story, a manga.. So what if she is inhumane? Think about the plot, do you really think it would have gone far without Michiko? The question isn't if she is right or not, because this isn't reality.
Honestly, judging people just because they are rooting for Michiko because of the fact that she is tough and ruthless is pathetic. You are taking a STORY way too seriously. Keep it down

Lol I'm not saying Michiko isn't supposed to be around with in the beginning or that she was a monster from the beginning that needs to die right away in the first chapter or whatnot. Haha! She is after all modeled after human beings and not aliens.
I was merely surprised and somewhat dejected by nekonekota's defense for Michiko.
The issue that I was so "hung up" on was Michiko's character choices in the story. Also,the story does focus on ethics and morality. The "What makes Us Humans?" kind of situations. This story reminds me of a certain book that involves "hunger",and "games"... Lol Continuing,
The whole "I-will-kill-everyone-to-survive" thing got me angry at her. Wouldn't you? Of course I'm sure that at somepoint in the story,you went batshit and cursed... But isn't it an author's dream for her/his readers to be so enthralled by their books? Kudos to you sensei!

I don't really like debate since it left bitter taste in my mouth but thank you for the debate. I know that bitch is the root of our problem but she's dead now, sadly. Skinned alive. Guess Kazunari and his beloved gf can rest now. I hope it's a happy ending for them.

fyi, I don't entirely support her killing another so she can survive, I only like how she can be so calm given that situation. That's why I thought she's strong. And she won't die easily. Nothing I hate more than a weak mob character. And since it's a fiction, I never really take anything that happens in the manga seriously so I thought it's okay if Michiko did something as bad as tricking someone to her death. I hope that's enlighten you, Confused Human Being. I don't entirely support her. I hope she's survived because if she died so early, this manga won't be as interesting.
