Hey, quick question - I know a lot of people lost their reading/already read/ want to read lists this year (was it this year?) Me included. Did anyone elses not get recovered? I saw a lot of people saying that they would reappear eventually but it didn't happen for me. Can I do anything to recover them? Or is it to late (I wanted to wait a bit cause people said it would take time but I think I waited too long lol)
Yoo ive been wanderin on that same issue. They told me exactly the same shi ur telling. "U will recover it eventually" well yeah my already list is full back but the others didnt come back. I gave up n just addin whatever I like. I think too that some of the books I added on want to read and now reading went to the already read. I took a guess it was the ones I marked or commented. But i aint sure
i noticed only the ones ive rated have been kept (even reading) and all went to “already read”. It’s such a shame cuz i dont rate all of the time so i still lost a big chunk of my list I havent seen anyone say that there is a way to recover the old lists but im not very sure.

EXACTLYY i mentioned earlier that possibility i suspected but i wasnt sure. They went the ones I commented or left any marks to my already read. I lost basically 80% of my lists
The Great Reset: Back in late January, a vast load of people descended upon this website. It overloaded the servers causing a massive crash. Much was restored. But unfortunately, the disk that held our lists was irreparable. MGOs developers worked hard, but, alas, they were only able to retrieve your books if you rated or tagged them. Those that were able to be recovered were sent to your Already Read list. You'll have to sort that list as you start to rebuild all your lists.

Omg, that explains so much actually. January was about when bato went down, right? That's probably why so many people switched. Well, guess That's my sign to start tagging works I'm reading. Thank you for the help!!

Yep. All those people migrated in a mass panic. Anyway...
Rebuilding Your Lists:
1. Use your previous (old) notifications to add to your reading lists. (This has been tested and works to start receiving notices again.)
2. If you have any bookmarks -- re-add them to your lists.
3. Use any previous comments (topics) you've left on stories here to help your lists.
4. Use your history (clock icon) to add to your lists. (If you see nothing, click the "Show All" link. It may show something.)
5. If you have a favorite author, find a story written by them and start adding the comics listed under their name.
6. If you follow someone look through their lists and start adding them to your lists from there.
7. If you have a favorite unofficial scan group -- use their website to add to your list. If they are defunct then use Baka Manga or another avenue to see what series, they worked on to add to your lists.
Below was created by another user to help save your lists. I use a spreadsheet, so I haven't tested this.

Everything about that is over with, if your list did not return it simply will not from here on out.
