ive got mixed feelings on the punishments given more so because of the author, how did they come up with the idea of dragging behind a body on a bike… and selling the dad to a sex slave is basically what did taeju did to euihyun, kinda goes against any character development
It depends on what you define as character development. His development was that he realized he loved euihyun, therefore making him & his brother part of his “family”, which means he won’t be hurting them. Morally he’s still the same taeju just now he’s loyal to one person. He had been consistent, he always cared for his families (dads, cousin, aunties, etc)
I don't think it affected his character development in any way. His character development is solely focused on how he now sees them as family. Taeju only respects and cares about his family. Anyone outside that is just a trash for him. He didn't become good. He just learned to see the brothers differently. You can see that with the way he acts around the college kid and Euiyoung's father. Ofc he didn't harm them, only because Euhyiun cares for them. If not because of that, god knows what he would have done to them. So yeah, Taeju is still a trash that only cares about his family, no one else

I ALWAYS CONE BACK TO THISSSS GOD I LOVE THEM (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
