All the above I listed have an anime adaptation. The best anime adaptations of those I listed are Ajin and AoT, but Ajin is defo not for the faint of heart. In terms of graphic gore portrayal, it's probably worse than AoT because the torture of the MC is a scene I will never be able to wash my eyes clean with any abundance of holy water! But the anime is still really great hehehe, mainly because the villain is just too evil and sinister that you can't stop watching
I haven't read much mystery mangas, only BL types so I can't help with that, sorry! I hope you don't skip the ones I listed that have romance because it's not the typical annoying love interests that ruin popular webtoons like Solo Leveling. I don't like to read hetero romance because the heroines are so annoying, and the actual shoujo I've read can be counted on less than the fingers of one of my hands... The mangas listed here are high quality, but if you really hate any kind of romance then just try the ones I mentioned without romance!

Not as dark as Berserk and Claymore are but there are some pretty dark arcs. The art is... Well, you've read Claymore, you'll be fine. It's my favorite manhwa, ever. I hope you'll give it a try :)
