From a logical standpoint, the pay-per-chapter system is a fair trade. From a value standpoint, legal reading makes it possible for artists and writers to survive so that they can do what they love while giving us stories that we love.
That being said
I get it, this system can be really discouraging for us plebians--aka poor people. Especially those who can only rely on themselves for financial support. I'm not telling anyone to completely give up on illegal reading. Not yet. But let's do our best to give support on legal avenues. If there is a BL you especially love, PLEASE save money for that BL.
Also, don't take the insults or accusations personally. Look at it this way: at least the scorn is understandable.
It's not like they're our parents shaming us for being gay. They're a franchise getting on our case for bypassing payment services, which does affect the writers and franchise. Being called a cockroach is the least we can put up with lol.
