The way taeui still gets treated like crap even in the future novels where ilay n taeui are tg.. literally by everyone. He's treated like, lesser than (?) Sure, they like him (hes really charismatic) but when it really comes down to it, everyone just watches him get treated like shit. Constantly talks down to him, and basically treat him however they fucking feel like... and the author writes it off like off like its supposed to be a joke, like taeui deadpanning and what not.. but from a viewers point of view it just irritates me. Especially knowing everything taeui went through and how hes basically stuck with ilay now (ugh). Like, sure? I wouldn't call it stalkhome syndrome?(maybe a littleee.. more then a little?) Because he is very aware of the position he is in, and even questions what he likes about ilay and why he even decided to stick with him. (Not that he has a choice ugh). But like you'd think ilay would stop torturing taeui after they "settled down" but no. . sure they have their cute moments but the bad moments outweigh the good. Ilay could be doing something really sweet towards taeui but then you remember hes the same mf who constantly disrespects taeui.. like there's this one part where ilay starts touching taeui in front of other people while taeui is saying not here and literally no one blinks a fucking eye. Its one of the most uncomfortable scenes in DS imo, and im sure a lot of you know which scene im talking about *cough*?
And ilay very much believes he can do wtv tf he wants with him and whenever he wants, he doesnt care if taeui is tired or just doesnt want to do it with him. Whats sadder is, over time taeui just becomes accustomed to it. To the point where i strongly believe ilay used witchcraft on him (Probably is the stalkhome syndrome)
And dont even get me started on Christopher.. hes basically in the same boat as taeui. And im glad that they have each other, but I highkey wish they could just run away together *cries* Richard is a creepy ass POS and their novel made me VERY uncomfortable. Their whole dynamic is disturbing to me. Especially because Christopher is SO innocent (or was), he didnt even know what sex was, even had a lot of issues with people touching him and richard constantly took advantage of that. Richard is basically another ilay without all that extra EXTRA stuff, and there's a lot of moments where he disrespects Christopher too. Genuinely had to take breaks while reading their chaps in DS because of how utterly uncomfortable it made me feel. Ilay was literally giving richard "tips and advice" on how to handle Chris...... like these motherfuckers ooh they irritate me BAD im getting mad writting this. Yes, it may seem like im over exaggerating or some of yall may think it wasnt that bad but for me it was.The way I see people romanticize them so much on social media, I cant. Taui and Christopher are definitely the unluckiest characters in the whole novel, they got the short end of the stick out of everyone yet they stay the most charming and sweetest characters *cries again* Honestly this is mostly a reminder for specific people, passion is not all sunshines and rainbows. I seriously dont understand how people are blaming taeui for shit, like ilay is right there.. blame him. If this is the way people are acting now over taeui "leaving" with xinlu, i dont want to see how people will react when Christopher kisses taeui, or how close they will become. *sighs*
The way BWAT draws the sex scenes thooo. SO high quality ugh the colors, the "lighting", the little affects and best of all i love when her characters look so in love while doing it. 10/10..
Like this legit reminds me of her other manhwa "Tale of the Yellow Dragon" *teary eyes*
Sigh im not prepared for the bullshit that bouta go down in the future chapters.
Like ik whats going to happen but im still not ready ugh..
I hate everyone but the mc atp. Everyone is doing him dirty like bro I feel so bad
Even the side stories are bullshit wow congrats author you managed to make a shitty manhwa even more shitty.
Reread this bc I forgot what it was about and bruh sighhh
the author fetishizes r*pe so much that even when they "get together" the author refuses to show/draw the consensual sex (idk how consensual it actually is when idol highkey has Stockholm syndrom, idk how to explain it) and skips right to r*pe again. I dont even have words to describe how much I hate the doctor, the way he constantly makes excuses for himself and thinks this is romcom when in the idols pov this is a horror movie bro. He makes the idol dependant on him and ughh I hate the doctor so much I could scream.
Just got my paycheck bouta support tf out of BWAT on the official platforms, i don't usually do this because in this economy its kind of hard to but I love BWAT's stories so much i feel the need to support them.
"Literally about to bust" IM CRINE THE TRANSLATOR bro
He needs to get his dick cut off
Sighhhh so disappointed in suah, if you really loved him you'd have patience and wait until juhyeok gives you full consent. No, instead you made him feel bad for something you did.. essentially guilt tripping him into chasing you, guilt tripping him into "going along" when he didnt even want it in the first place. Suah can't even take no for an answer so tell me does he really love him? You fucking asshole I hate you so much suah I need you to go to consent counseling. If you really loved him you would have waited.... UGHHHH
I just read the raws and you have got to be kidding me because why does it look like theyre gonna be separated again don't fucking do this to me you peace of shit of a father you better not force him to marry that woman. (He's literally being held by men omfg and it looks like the dad is gonna force him to do smth, but idk i hope not) they just reunited don't do this to meeeeee. They're happy just leave them alone
It's time for the other two characters to come and babysit so that the two daddy's can have some alone time ;) ifykwim
Wait- didn't bwat say she was going to make a sad ending story? Is it this one? Or was it supposed to her other discontinued works? Because i remember bwat saying that they would make a tragic story after they finished their other works.. but since theyre discontinued...... I'm scared.
How is it possible to make such a green flag wholesome couple, really good plot minus the side couples.. then author goes and makes fuck ass Corrosive...... So disappointed.
Just finished the novel (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ 10/10! Such a cute story, nothing too dramatic happens and it's not dragged on either. Although I do wish it was a little longer, I'm going to miss them.
The Mc is so cutie and the ml is a greenish flag, even tho he already knew Mc was "xenogenic" for a long time.. and was sent out to capture him he still couldn't do it . Sure what he did as an arbiter was cruel (but also just his job) but when he's with his little mushroom he's lu feng, a yearning and devoted man. Im glad that the author didn't have their relationship running around in circles tbh. I can't wait for the rest of the story to get illustrated, especially the kiss scene and all of the cute doting moments between them. LIKE lu feng literally risked his own life just to protect his little mushroom ahhgggg Literally him and his an ze against the world.
(Some parts from the novel)
- "An Zhe smiled. In fact, Lu Feng had never been able to do anything at all to him, he suddenly realized."
- "Lu Feng was afraid. He was actually afraid.
What was he afraid of? He was afraid of losing this person in his arms, as though… as though by losing him, he would lose everything."
-"Lu Feng kissed away his tears, as if by doing so he could erase all the sorrows between them."
Jealous lu feng hehwheh honestly this can be interpretatated in so many different ways with that ["then im different from them"] my little head canon is that lu feng is respecting An zhe and perhaps waiting for the right time. Even tho he actually means ["I'm different from them because you actually like me and im the only one who gets to...."] Well, it's never explicitly shown that they do it, its only ever implied but i dont mind because i love the innocence of the story tbh. If you're only thinking about reading the novel to see if they do it yall need some help fr. Novel---- "An Zhe hesitantly put his arms around Lu Feng's shoulders and used his limited knowledge to analyze the current situation.
Then he asked in a small voice, "Do you wish to bed me?"
He heard Lu Feng let out a soft laugh, the sound slightly hoarse and breathy.
Then Lu Feng asked, "Who taught you that?"
"Mr. Shaw said it once," An Zhe replied.
"Shaw Scott." Lu Feng accurately pronounced Mr. Shaw's name. "What else did he say?"
An Zhe said, "It was all more or less the same."
In short, Mr. Shaw's language always revolved around these words.
Lu Feng asked, "If I did, what would you think?"
An Zhe thought hard.
"That…" he said, "that Mr. Shaw truly was very incredible."
He used to think that Mr. Shaw's words were completely unfounded, but now it appeared that they were correct about even the Arbiter himself.
He truthfully shared his thoughts with Lu Feng.
Buried in his neck, Lu Feng began to laugh. It unexpectedly sounded like he was quite happy.
After he finished laughing, he rolled over and lay side by side with An Zhe on the grass. An Zhe turned to look at him and saw that this man was indeed relaxed. He had never even dared to dream that this Arbiter who lived in constant night would wear such an expression.
Lu Feng asked, "Who else wished to bed you?"
"Hosen, I suppose, when I came to the base in their vehicle." An Zhe thought back as he spoke. "I think there was Josh as well, and on the third floor, there were some mercenaries."
"What about you?"
"I didn't like them much." An Zhe thought about their gazes.
He saw that Lu Feng was looking at him as well, the cold arches of his eyebrows relaxing. It was a clear expression, similar to the mountain breeze currently blowing through the wilderness.
An Zhe became a bit lost in thought. If time repeated itself, if Lu Feng were not the Arbiter, if he were an invincible, ambitious, and powerful young military officer, perhaps his expression would often have been like this.
"Then," Lu Feng said, "I'm different from them."
An Zhe questioned him with a puzzled gaze.
The Colonel only smiled. It was very good-looking, like the season's snowpack in the initial stages of thaw.
"Let's go." He got up from the grass. Facing the morning sunlight, he held out a hand to An Zhe. "I'll take you to search for An Ze."
Anyway, this was such a delicious treat, there are too many toxic bls these days.. this was so refreshing. Started the novel last night and finished it around 4am. Definitely recommend reading both the manhua and the novel, I know the art style changed but it's going to be worth it once the rest of the novel gets illustrated. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ Honestly I only just picked this up the day before yesterday, I initially thought this wasn't going to be my cup of tea and now I'm upset at myself for not picking it sooner lol. I'm glad I finally did though sniffle
