Was reading this webtoon when i noticed the details on the backgrounds was GenAi work for their backgrounds.
The artist looks like they still do a lot of drawing themselves but has relied on GenAi for backgrounds. I didn't even notice it until I zoomed in.
I don't want to spread hate or for you guys to start boycotting this webtoon or to hate the artist, so im keeping the webtoon's title anonymous (for the love of god don't be an immature fuck like sending death threats)
Just want to bring awareness because if my longtime favorite series is using GenAi in some way, then the others aren't so far to resort to the same shit.
i mean does it really matter tho, it's just the backgrounds and these artists are under a lot of pressure to get out a chapter every week or every 10 days, so i don't blame them tbh if they do use help. most stories use sketchup models as backgrounds so it's not really that different to using an ai generated background.
Ikr why does everyone get so pissed at manhwa artists for not drawing background by hand.. They have to produce such long chapters in such short time
Honestly if it looks the same, who cares. Quality still there and that's all that matters
right like it makes no difference if the author used a 3d model or ai for the background it just makes work easier for them idk why people have to hate authors who are stressed af and literally get health problems from drawing all the time
I don't mind since we're pirating it so that doesn't rlly give us a right to complain but which webtoon is it? If you don't mind saying (can also priv message me, i'm just rlly curious^^)
