what are you even trying to say?? the reason the chapters are so short IS because they needed a hiatus

Yeah if someone is sick and want to take few days off is not something that should be criticized.

Didn't they take that year long hiatus to avoid this? I thought they stock piled on chapters

idk anything abt their health but i noticed the chapters were getting shorter and shorter so i assumed the author was losing motivation. Guess i was right sooooo anyways. I prefer long chapters over short half assed chapters any day so ill wait

I doubt there will be any change but we can hope!

That’s okay. This is not my first hiatus experience. This one is just really annoying because there has been no progress or plot or anything in all chapters. It’s literally just like edging. This is my last criticism before dropping. The characters chemistry is nice but the story has nothing to offer.

This is exactly what I was saying. Had a whole year to brainstorm and outline everything for this season. We're only a few chapters in and they've already hit a creative block? Well damn. They have the luxury of taking breaks unlike pay per chapter novel platforms where the author has to update everyday, even while sick. I'm saying this as an author on said platforms.

While I'll always advocate for a person to put their health first, when you depend on people spending money on your work to put food on the table, it's better to have a plan to avoid disappointing them often.

Like I don't want to be ungrateful here, I'm reading this for free after all, but this seems like poor planning.

Reading the latest chapters I've noticed a pacing issue and an art decline. I chalked it up to me being snobby and ungrateful, but now that I know they've actually been burnt out, I feel vindicated.

Like at this point, they just wanted a year break and only started working right before season 2 premiered. Ya know?
