I swear to god everytime i think abt how much every character has grown i weep in joy, do you guys remember uenoyama having his gay panic everytime he was in the same panel as mafuyu and now he's even pulling him for a hug like?? ?? ?my boi evolved so much i can't even.
When akihiko fucked up i thought that was it for his character i would never care for him but actually no????he changed everything so he could be better for haruki before even confessing, and the manga never excused what he did but it gave a chance to redeem himself and i'm so proud jesus christ
I love the natural development of every character and how they cope with different traumas. This manga is just so great i literally cry remembering random scenes that humanizes them even more.

Shingo saying all that shit about the girls not beign fair to kensuke like???? ? Ok, he's sorta traumatized but it still have fuck to do with everyone involved in this.
The fight was his fault and his past problems should be treated with care, THAT'S IT.

Shingo is totally just enabling Kensuke which is not the right thing to do, probably because he knew about what happened to Kensuke beforehand. His argument is generally bullshit, but he DID have some good points until he said "What about if someone loves hurting people" and it all derailed. The girls were being very insensitive to Kensuke for joking about his sexual assault, and honestly they aren't being very productive by shitting on his homophobic views either. They all could have approached the situation better by suggesting Kensuke to go to therapy to sort out his trauma.
EXACTLY, I couldn't stand most of shingo's points but the girls were far from right in this discussion too, I was kinda with them until they joked with kensuke's trauma. Everyone there needs to grow up jesus christ
The manga is abt the whole band, ueno and mafuyu are kinda solved in their angst and exploring more would just be beating a dead horse for this kind of manga. The author is showing us all the other nice relationships that flourish while we we're focusing on the band and you guys complaining (･c_･`)
