I think the alpha is a little too nonchalant in the first volume for sure, but second volume he's very much in love and very sweet. He kinda drops the overly blase personality and becomes a very good partner!
Couldn’t finish this cuz of the rape scene. The whole series was just bad and usually I’m all for a gangster romance where it’s not all sunshine and rainbows afterwards but this is lit just sloppy writing and coerced sex scenes on every corner. They could’ve done something with the neighbour or make it so the uke can actually fend for themselves or even have a proper forgiveness arc for the seme but nah financial abuse and rape is clearly better.
