I disagree. ML in sadistic beauty was waaay worse. MC was beat up many more times and he was raped WAY more times. MC is in love with ml in this one since they were kids. MC in sadistic beauty only comes back to him because of Stockholm syndrome and loneliness. It’s way more cruel. In this, they’re both living such miserable lives and do want to be happy together but how can they with the trauma they’ve experienced? It’s just different imo. I think sadistic beauty can be more compared to ‘revenge’ (I forget the other names it has..) and in that case revenge is waaaay more intense. Anyway, yeah that’s just my opinion tho lol
The mc in sadistic beauty didn't have Stockholm syndrome and I think this story is well more intense... We get to know characters psychological profile and their traumas while the other two stories randomly spam rape scenes
i think what they meant is, this story is more well-written than the sadistic beauty because it's a very complex on how it portrays human mental illness and how the author mindfucks us with the revelation; bc in my opinion sadistic beauty is just a torture porn story tht mashes up all the trigger warnings for cheap shock factor

In my point of view random violence isn't as bad as psychological unsettling works but I think it's my personal hot take... For example the movie precious shocked me more than a Serbia film
yes because most of the time random violent acts r used just for cheap shock factors (which i hate) and isn't really needed for the plot. ALSO precious was devastating to watch and knowing that it's based of a real person's life, it's heartbreaking. happy to know that other people know that movie too!
