I came back to reread this after I watched the live action and this is a first for me that the live action did a better job at pacing the story and the development of the relationship I love it more in the show
I actually agree with the red haired guy I’m sure that going back to his country caused the mc a lot of problems because it seems like he failed his mission. It’s like they kicked him out of the country without any explanation. I mean it’s been 10 years and he didn’t even send him a letter
