I got pretty hooked on the story and read it in one go(its 5am now help)
I actually really enjoyed it. The characters are all in one way or another, problematic. My favourite character was lucius. The plot isnt that complicated but I guess it can be confusing at times, it definitely wasn’t a light read as it tackles heavy themes so a fair warning. Overall it was a good read
I get why his sister left and never looked back…his parents suck. I feel so bad for him cause these institutions are really horrible to the point where its lowkey inhumane how much they make you study , they’re literally just kids
