It’s almost like they switched emotional places, but for the kids factor, which makes Cha-young’s situation/mindset more gross and sad. It is kind of a weird portrayal of a parent in these types of side stories, but I guess it’s realistic? Part of him still feels something considering he can’t sleep in their bed without feeling anxious, it seems.
