‘On my way to meet mom’ literally so so good. The main character isn’t a girl, but is an actual child. Would argue the gender doesn’t matter it’s just purely about found family and a child’s yearning for a mum (in a super cool fantasy setting) Made me tear up with how sweet it is.
Metamorphosis, is really good. I even cried bcs of Nabi
