Yeah mc was people pleaser and cry baby i get that one, but blaming her not to stand up to stepmother is harsh. I mean remember this is japan and losing face is bad, im more mad mc father who sees abuse and doesnt do anything about it and because of that she cannot stand up herself so easily because she has nowhere else to go, everyone has theys situation and problems.
