I feel like it's just me but I feel as if trauma in characters have slowly gotten a little.. Too far? I mean, I understand rape and sexual assault is a serious topic to speak about and should be made aware of.. But I feel as if every character these days have been either been sexually assaulted or was touched as a kid. I know this is such a non iss......
Read the update and seeing he was high-schooler was crazy and I didn't remember much of this one but I thought surely I'd known beforehand or something???
And I told myself I would reread this after I read the update (also read some comments before re-reading)
It didn't mention anything or alluded much to him being in high school
1. He mention he had no family and it didn't show us much of his home but one would infer he lives alone
2. They literally filmed (unreleased??) porn videos of him - HELLO??? Why tf are they letting a high schooler do that??
3. He had multiple jobs - one at a bar and another as a janitor in that porn place (who lets a high schooler work at either of these places??)
4. That one fucking guy instigated MC's sexual assault - he drugged, filmed, and aided in the sexual assault of MC - mind you he was an adult and mc is a-fucking-parently a teenager
The side couple is a plot line I didn't forget; so I made sure to skip their stories, even for ones I have not actually read of them cause I hated that thing with the brother - ngl; if I remember correctly this isn't the author's first work that has some (borderline) incest stuff
Lowkey hope 3rd brother (pretty sure he was the 3rd) isn't adopted though; cause fuck that 2nd brother(i believe he's the 2nd one) - like he's such a nice brother to MC and deserves so much better
I was (still am) hoping to see more on the main couple and their baby
